About the Event

The Practice of Moon Salutations (Chandra Namaskar) provide a grounding meditative flow which soothe fiery energies and cultivate cool, lunar energy.  This practice calms stress, relieves over-stimulation and it is a blissful way to  replenish vital energy. Chandra Namaskar balances svadhisthana, the second chakra which is characterized by fluidity, movement, creativity and the flow of your innermost thoughts and emotions.  When balanced the energy of the second chakra encourages us to let go and to move forward with grace.  Moon Salutations also allow space for spontaneous, intuitive movement as we become receptive to our innate inner wisdom.  Most importantly this practice moves slowly so we can tune into a sense of devotion as we honor all the phases of the moon and the cycles of our life.  Tickets to this event include Yoga, soup and grilled cheese provided by Well+Fed, a complimentary drink and a donation to Common Ground Community.
