Service Description

Beginning with sun salutations and alternative variations/modifications (to make the practice accessible for everyone), this practice first moves through a standing sequence then on to seated postures. Finally, the practice ends with inversions, a finishing sequence and rest. The style is energetic, synchronizing breath with movements. This steady practice calms you. Controlling your movements, breath patterns, and gaze all at once increases concentration and helps calm your autonomic nervous system, which controls heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure. Ashtanga improves a sense of well-being, strengthens muscles, promotes healthy eating, aids in digestion and eases tension.
