Service Description
Start on your path toward greater equanimity, acceptance and joy by taking a deep breath, and getting ready to relax. After a few breaths, invariably, the mind will wander. Don’t beat yourself up about this. It’s natural. What’s important is how we respond when it happens. Simply acknowledge the discursive mind without ascribing too much judgment to it and without letting it carry you away. Take a moment to come back to the present moment, re-open your attention and resume your meditation. This practice trains our minds to be awake, present and openhearted in everything we do on and off our mat. Mindfulness meditation involves paying close attention to our inner thoughts, emotions and sensations --- no matter what is happening externally.
